The Formula Explained
Net Area = (Wall Length x Height) minus opening deductions. Panels = Net Area divided by Panel Face Area x 1.10 wastage. Rails = (Wall Length divided by 6m) x (Height divided by 600mm spacing) x 1.10. Sealant = Net Area x Joint Factor x 1.10.
